Grilled or BBQ’d Broccoli

Grilled broccoli with lemon and parmesan is tender and flavourful, with crispy bits and a slightly smoky flavour. An easy side dish, it is ready in just 20 minutes using four simple ingredients.

Ingredients

8 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ lemon (juiced)
½ lemon (sliced)
salt & pepper
½ cup parmesan cheese (shredded)

Method

STEP 1
Heat grill to medium heat (350°F).

STEP 2
Grill broccoli (I recommend using a vegetable grilling plate) for 7-10 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes. Broccoli is done when it is bright green with some crispy, brown bits.

STEP3
Transfer broccoli to serving plate, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve.
